Fraternity and Sorority Affairs Office


Mission

The Fraternity and Sorority Affairs Office promotes student learning and development by facilitating the success of Greek organizations through education, consultation, and advocacy.


Goals

1.       Promote the success of organizations and students by providing advising services to governing councils and individual chapters.

2.       Promote the success of organizations and students by providing resources that assist governing councils and individual chapters.

3.       Promote the success of organizations and students by identifying the areas in need of development within the fraternity and sorority community and advocating these needs

Panhellenic Association

Goals

1.      To work together with all Greek organizations towards the betterment of the Greek system, improving the overall Greek image on our campus and in our community.

2.      To better utilize the resources of other organizations on campus, especially other Greek organizations to create stronger and more symbiotic relationships.

3.      To improve the Recruitment processes, especially that of Continuous Recruitment.

 

 National Pan-Hellenic Council

Mission

To promote the "Unanimity of thought and action as far as possible in the conduct of Greek letter collegiate fraternities and sororities, and to consider problems of mutual interest to its member organizations" in the purposes of establishing diplomacy, respect, and cooperation amongst its affiliate organizations.

Goals

1.     To continuously promote academic excellence through maintaining above average GPAs and Graduation rates and the development of scholarship programs that challenge members and potential members achieve the highest levels of academic success.

2.     To develop citizenship through community service and outreach.

3.     To instill leadership skills in its members.

4.     To develop positive supportive relationships among individuals, affiliate organizations, and the university, at large.

 

Inter-Greek Programming Assembly

Mission

 

  1. Regulate and schedule all programming that is sponsored for the Greek Community.

  2. Unify the Greek Governing Councils of the Interfraternity Council (IFC), the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC), and the Panhellenic Council (PC).
     
  3.   Coordinate all joint-programming efforts of IFC, NPHC, and PC, such as the following:  Greek Week, G-PAC, Sophomore Leadership Retreat, Spring Leadership Retreat, Greek Symposiums, etc.
